It's mid winter here in New Zealand and the weather is cold and dreary. Here are just a few of the butterfly photos I took during summer, as a pick-me-up for the winter blues. Click on each picture, below, to see a larger view..... Did you know that Dunedin has 'Discovery World Tropical Forest' in the Otago Museum complex? Within it are many species of magnificent butterflies from all around the world. I'm not going to add a lot of words to this post. I'm just going to let you enjoy these photos of some of the glorious butterflies you'll see there. BUT - a word to the wise. Discovery World Tropical Forest is very hot and humid inside.
