The website will have much of the same content as my Butterflies Love Butterflies Facebook page however there will, in time, be a lot more.
Next week we're moving house to Opua, in New Zealand's far north. It's a great area for butterflies and my plan is to really place a focus on them as I go about with my camera.
It'll be a study and an enjoyment, all rolled into one.
I began the website process using the Wordpress system, however didn't like the majority of their templates and certainly didn't enjoy the technical problems I encountered with their system.
In the end I've gone back to my old favourite, Weebly. The Weebly system makes website creation so easy - so easy (no this is not an advert for Weebly). If you're thinking about making a website I recommend that you try them - and they do have a free version.
I began the process by calling the website "Butterflies Love Butterflies", then realised that the entire project will be about my butterflies and my photographs, so I've changed the name to "Julie's Butterflies".
I'm laughing to myself as I write this because it couldn't be a worse day for butterflies. The rain is bashing down and the wind is howling. What a storm.
I have 3 chrysalis left in the caterpillar castle, all safely tucked in, and they won't be emerging for a few more days yet.

I might go quiet for a few days, while the house move happens, however before long the website will be singing.
