Monarch Caterpillar emerging from its egg
This is, plain and simple, a string of photos showing a tiny Monarch caterpillar emerging from its egg.
From its very first bite to get itself out of the egg, until it finished and walked off, was a total of 53 minutes. This tiny creature, about the thickness of a piece of human hair and not even 3mm long, knew exactly what it had to do and it did it perfectly.
